Congolese Solidarity Gathering – Washington DC

On July 27–28, 2025, history will unfold in Washington, D.C., as the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), our President His Excellency Mr Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and the President of Rwanda are expected to meet under the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump for high-stakes peace negotiations.
As the world watches, the Congolese diaspora will rise — not in silence, but in solidarity.
We will gather outside the talks to stand firmly behind our elected government, our armed forces, and our people still suffering in the war-torn provinces of North and South Kivu. This is our chance to show the world that Congolese voices cannot be excluded from the conversation — because it is our land, our lives, and our future that are on the line.
